p.o.p. candy is amazingly fresh butter crunch pleasure from Santa Monica. We hand make our all-natural candy in small batches and pack p.o.p. with premium nuts and other ingredients that are pure and simple: high quality butter, cane sugar, and organic brown rice syrup. Organic fresh herbs and sun dried fruit that are folded into some of our flavors come from our local Santa Monica farmers markets. Each butter crunch we make has its own rich color and distinct flavor from the natural nut oils that are released during the cooking process. p.o.p. proudly maintains a small carbon footprint philosophy. Our name is a nod to Pacific Ocean Park (POP), a pier-based amusement park that once stood in Santa Monica. We believe in simple pleasures like POP and the power of giving, and regularly support efforts that celebrate, build, and enhance community.

Rachel Flores and Bill Waiste heard it time and time again: their fresh butter crunch candy was so good, they should sell it. When they received the same advice from a successful entrepreneur, they took action. They debuted their product at the Mar Vista Farmers Market in 2007, and it sold like gangbusters. Baked in small batches for optimal freshness using local ingredients, they began developing flavors inspired by the world around them. A true labor of love, p.o.p. has brought Rachel and Bill closer together, as well as to their community of food crafters and farmers.
